If there`s one thing I`ve learned in my career, it`s that there`s no part of my job that requires talent. It`s all skills, knowledge and practice. Anything to do with art, writing and craft is teachable, and the notion that some people are `born with it` is nonsense. It`s all SKILLS. And YOU can learn it.

For the last five years, I`ve been teaching these skills to the next generation of Comic Book superstars in my famous Comic Book Bootcamp classes in different locations all over the city of Toronto. Having taught in other people’s schools, I decided it was time to have my own space, and to teach my way. I’ve joined up with some other comics creators, and together we are a comics collective known as Comic Book Embassy, located at 392 Spadina Avenue (Second Floor) in Toronto (Chinatown and on the edge of Kensington Market! Two great neighbourhoods!) I will be using my space as a classroom–and the learning is just getting started. We can`t wait for you to join us.

The school itself is called Comic Book BOOTCAMP!! after my original classes, but will feature all the classes I’ve taught over the years–as well as new ones. I’m FULL of exciting ideas for the school–I can’t wait to get started.
